We are now looking for a Senior Events Fundraising Manager to manage and growth of our bespoke events portfolio.
This is an exciting time to join the world's leading independent conservation organisation. We are rapidly growing the fundraising team and have ambitious plans to generate significant income growth through incredible events. You will play a key role in helping achieve this goal.
As Senior Bespoke Events Fundraising Manager, you will lead a committed team and take responsibility for planning, delivering and expanding existing events as well as developing of new ones. You will lead on event innovation too. This will involve identifying gaps in our offering and new audiences and progressing ideas through to launch. Important will be the ability to use supporter insight, data and external trend analysis to identify opportunities to expand our bespoke events programme. We will look to you to evaluate the effectiveness of all activities against campaign objectives and strategic KPIs and use learning to improve performance and shape future activities. You will also ensure that fundraising activities are of the highest standards, compliant and provide supporters with the best possible experience, whilst maximising income for our work.
For this role, you must have experience of managing and delivering large scale mass participation events. This will have given you a good understanding of the Fundraising Code of Practice and the legislation surrounding charity fundraising and data protection. Effective at managing people, you will be used to creating and launching new products as well as comfortable setting and overseeing budgets. Able to manage multiple projects, you will be highly organised and effective at prioritising and meeting deadlines. You will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
