We are now recruiting a Public Sector Partnerships Specialist to help us deliver this mission.
As Public Sector Partnerships Specialist you will be part of a committed team delivering a new strategy of raising WWF-UK’s profile whilst securing significant funding through public sector partnerships with the UK Government and other multi-lateral funders. This will involve building strong relationships across the organisation and the WWF network as well as working to identify public sector donors, map funds and advise on access points into Government and other public institutions. Critically you will support the drafting of proposals, assess of donor Terms and Conditions, lead on proposal development and ensure quality funding submissions. You will also provide ongoing donor reporting and share learning to improve our success rate.
To succeed you will have a good understanding of the government in the UK and Whitehall departments as well as experience in the conservation, development or research fields. You will also have a background in the NGO or environmental sectors. You will possess sound knowledge of fundraising, or the ability to quickly learn the key aspects of the role. Comfortable managing projects and building relationships, you will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.
