This is an exciting opportunity for a part or fully qualified accountant to join the fight to save our planet before it is too late. As a Senior Finance Analyst with the world’s leading independent conservation organisation, we want you to give financial support to upwards of 150 projects that are playing an important role in bringing our world back to life.
As Senior Finance Analyst you will be part of a team which supports the financial management of projects, programmes and donor restricted funds. This will involve formulating and setting budgets, preparing forecasts and managing donor financial audit processes. You will challenge and help budget holders deliver realistic budgets and forecasts for cost centres and projects as well as document reasoning and underlying assumptions for management. You will clarify any variances too. We will look to you to provide regular financial information across the portfolio, including tracking spending across programme workstreams and cost centres and maintaining fund reporting schedules. You will also support a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practice and developing and streamlining processes.
For this key financial role you must be CCAB or CIMA qualified or willing to complete these qualifications with study support. You will have been involved in budgeting and forecasting. Comfortable delivering against monthly recurring deadlines, you will excel at providing financial reports and information to non-finance staff and external stakeholders. Good at solving problems you will also possess strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
Experience of working with Sun finance applications would be an advantage.
