Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy Operations, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying an ongoing pool of prospects that are able to give substantial financial support for our work. You will prepare briefing documentation, collaborate with colleagues on the allocation of prospects and regularly assess our Due Diligence and Gift Acceptance Framework to ensure we remain compliant and demonstrate best practice. You will also develop the team’s use of our CRM system, collate strategic guest lists and implement an internal screening process to identify existing supporters with potential for uplift. You will keep abreast of philanthropic trends, economic factors, and research best practice too.
For this role you must have a background in prospect research within a high-value fundraising environment. You will be expert at analysing and interpreting information from a range of sources, including business and financial data as well as a proficient user of fundraising databases/CRM systems. You will have a good working knowledge of fundraising regulations too. Excellent at research and data analysis, you will also have an eye for detail coupled with outstanding organisational and communication skills. Naturally you will be an ardent supporter of our mission and the need to build a world where people and nature can thrive.
