As Philanthropy Grant Manager, we want you to lead on engagement activity which will involve maintaining excellent stewardship and development of existing relationships as well as researching funding opportunities from other strategic philanthropic funders. You will coordinate with programme colleagues to provide timely donor communications, regular project updates and organise site visits and invitations to philanthropy events too. You will also coordinate our new application process with major grant makers and support the applications of others. Important will be the ability to collaborate with colleagues identify and further develop project work and budget that aligns with both our strategic priorities and major funding opportunities.
To play your part in saving our planet, you must have considerable experience of managing relationships with large funders. You will have a track record of securing funding from and working with National Lottery or comparable UK funders in terms of size and complexity too. Effective at identifying and developing new funding opportunities, you will be comfortable building lucrative, long-term relationships. Good at prioritising, you will also possess excellent communication and influencing skills.
